Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 details surface, November 6th release date.

Details regarding Black Ops 2 have surfaced along with a release date, i must say im very glad to see they are not following Modern Warfare 3 in any way apart from pointstreaks (MW3 lasted about 3 weeks in my house before i sold it) Some of these new features are looking very interesting, loving the fact they are removing all rocket launchers and grenade launchers from hardcore and liking the sound of the new Perk system upgrades. As always we can count on Treyarch at least to move the series forward and not back. Black Ops 1 brought a lot of new features to the table and it seems number 2 is bringing even more. I just wish IW and co would take a leaf out of Treyarchs books and learn to listen to fans and do more to improve the series rather than go backwards and only implement one new thing (i.e pointstreaks)

European 3DS eShop to Feature Virtual Console Game Gear Games

The eShop has been booming for well over 10 months now, but it hasn’t seen any third party console software for the virtual console. However, this Thursday the European eShop will get a batch of Game Gear games. Only 3 so far, but at least we know they’re coming. Set to release are; Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble, Shinobi,  and Dragon Crystal in all their glory.

Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble is the sequel to Sonic Chaos. Released in 1994, Sonic and Tails must race across six zones, attempting to beat Knuckles and Nack the Weasle to the Chaos Emeralds. This is at the eShop’s middle price, €5 (£4.50)

In Shinobi you take control of the Red Shinobi, Joe Musashi, who must save his fellow shinobi to rid the world of fear. Released as a side-scrolling action game, it costs €4 or £3.60, depending on your currency of choice.

Dragon Crystal features you running through mazes whilst being chased by an egg, and knuckle sandwiching some monsters. It’s a turn based rouguelike, and it’s a fairly timeless genre. Get it at the lowest price of the three, €3 (£2.75)

Good games, from a great handheld, the game gear. The question is will you be buying anything? If so, which one, if not all! Be sure to comment! Have a great day!

Resident Evil: Revelations special MII QR codes.

Here are 4 special QR codes for the 3DS, they will give you a MII of Chris, Jill, Jessica and Parker. Be careful as the QR codes are single use apparently as the 3DS tells me, you will also need to rename them if you can as they come out with Japanese names. QR codes below for you to scan.

Cheers, Geran.
